Deutsche Hämophilie Gesellschaft e.V. (DHG)
Website Relaunch
September 2018 - January 2019
The DHG – Deutsche Hämophilie Gesellschaft – is a registered association for people with haemophilia and their relatives. It gives information about the desease itself as well as about medication, clinics and surgeries, problems in everyday life, excursions, meetings and much more.
Their website was a bit overloaded with text, not user friendly structured and not SEO friendly (see last picture). So there was planned a complete relaunch and I was asked to do the graphic part.
The site map was given by the client. Also the main navigation elements. And because there were not many pictures available and stock material should be used rarely, I had to find a way to structure the informations in a user friendly way. So only the homepage contains some pictures to welcome the visitor. The many informations about regional groups, haemophilia centers and medications are structured by using a well ordered searching function and maps. Long text passages couldn’t be avoided, but I tried to partition them by using some small pictures or light grey boxes. The corporate colors red, white and dark grey dominate the layout.
Also the logo and other parts of their corporate design had to be reworked. See more here.
