One evening I just wanted to practice drawing a little and found a cute little girl on Instagram that I took as a reference model. I posted the result on my account and, of course, tagged her father’s account where I got the reference from. He loved this drawing so much that he wanted to buy it. Unfortunately I used a very cheap paper and the drawing was very small. So I offered him to re-draw it in a larger scale (A4) and on better paper.
The final drawing then went to its little owner, Ingrid, far up in Northern Norway and is now hanging in the family’s cabin. Her father sent me a video when Ingrid unwrapped the drawing – it was so cute! She seemed so shy and overwhelmed and it made me very happy that I could give the family a long lasting pleasure.
